Artist Statement

​

The focus of this project is about arousing our interpretation between image, text and sound. I argue on how we project ourselves onto the circumstances in front of us. I also want to examine how we interplay our imagination and expectation.

 

Owing to this, I used different media, including photography, video, text and sound, to create an atmosphere that evoked the visitors’ awareness of the interrelationship between these media.

 

The content of these elements is between non-fiction and fiction. Among the conflicts, I want the visitors to rethink their understanding of what suppose to be and not to be.
