Artist Statement

​

I would like to use this series of video works to respond to human conditions nowadays. We are now living in a world that is full of uncertainty and insecurity; there are no ultimate definitions for us to follow. Our lives are full of multiplicities and possibilities. But until the point, we may ask about the meanings of the supposed standards. And also the influences and burdens from history. The individuals are isolated from uncertain surroundings; they may have feelings of nihility and insecurity.

It is no more critical if Peach Flower Garden exists or not. The only method to conquer the situations of our existences is to confirm and confront them. I would like to outline our feelings of hope, desire, fear, anxiety and doubt etc., to ask the audiences to rethink the meaning of our existences.
